Video of Lowell George & Little Feat I Had to Share
This is such a great video of Lowell George & Little Feat I had to share. Almost as good the entire "Waiting for Columbus" show which was recorded, in part at George Washington University's Lisner Auditorium. Little Feat was so popular around DC and Baltimore in the mid 70's and early 80's, alot of people thought they lived in the area.....nope, actually LA. I had them on-air with me many times at WHFS....sometimes playing live in the studio. Lowell George and Linda Ronstadt came by and did an unplugged set on my show once.....amazing. Feat are playing Wolf Trap this summer.....if you've never seen them or if it's been a while since you've been to one of their shows, they've still got the mojo. I'd love hearing from you...maybe you saw some of the Warner Theatre and/or Lisner shows.......remember the stage lighting when they played 'Willin?'.......chime in.
